After the not so good performance against West Indies, Indian took on England. Two Test matches are over and we lost both of them. Very poor performance by our team. Player fitness, to much of cricket, lack of planning, lack of determination and taking test matches lightly have resulted into poor performance of the Team. Definitely, this England Team is a great team in all aspects and it is not a shame to loose to such an opposite team's performance. India takes on England today for the 3rd Test match. We need to win both the test matches to level the series. Moreover, India likely to loose Ranking too. Sehwag joins the team today - still not 100% fit & is with painful shoulder yet. Lots of expectations from him and may be the first innings would be a warming up session for him. With Gambhir, Sehwag in, the batting line seems to go till no. 7 (Ishaan-Praveen showed of having taken some lessons from Broad-Bresnan in 2nd innings of 2nd test, so expect little add-ons from the tail too) with Mishra, Sharma, Praveen, Sreeshant, India seems to be good on paper. Hope to see some stunning performances from Indian team. But doubt prevails over India leveling up the series by winning both the remaining test matches. With the excellent performance of England, they are with increased confidence levels and India has lower confidence & enthusiasm with lack of hunger for victory. Hope we don't have to go for a 4-0 White Wash. Long Live Our Hopes. Rahul Dravid has been fantastic so far in the test series. The equation was almost like Indian Team - (minus) Dravid = (approx. equal) ZERO. He has been incredible and hope to see mores superb innings from him. His announcement of retirement from T-20 & ODI after being selected for ODI has been moving around. But that was a rightly taken decision. It is always better to go in a dignified and respectable manner. He has given a correct answer to Indian cricket board. Dravid's announcement reminds me of Sir Vijay Merchant's Quote " When You Retire People Should Ask "Why" and Not "Why Not". Incredible Dravid, as he usually is....
